In 1983, Greyhound Bus drivers went on strike… and Greyhound just fired them all, hired “scab” drivers, and thumbed their Corporate Noses at their longtime, veteran drivers. The first ‘scab bus’ that left Greyhound’s terminal, in Boston, had its way cleared by the Boston Police Dept. The photographer, behind the Burly Sergeant, is Curtis Ackerman, who… at the time… worked for The Boston Herald.
