John McCain spent saturday cruising around, campaigning for New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly Ayotte, who is running for the Judd Gregg seat, in the U.S. Senate.
McCain is still wildly popular in NH, and still transcends Party affiliation. He’s now older, slimmer, and a bit slower that he was for his 2000 campaign for The Presidency… but still very energetic and VERY funny.

I just sat there, on the ground, in the tent at The North Hampton Airport, watching him work the crowd… and wondered why he couldn’t campaign that way, in 2008…
