William and Donna-Marie waiting for lunch

We started our Quickie/Mini Vacation, this morning, by driving out Route 2A, to Westminster Massachusetts, for lunch at The Old Mill Restaurant.
The Old Mill is one of our favorites, but this is William’s first time. TOM features a small pond, with ducks, that The Kids can feed, and be amused by.
Once seated, I showed William the place on the menu where Roast Duck is featured… and, suitably aghast, he saud, “Oh, my…”
Once again, they re-affirmed my Faith in their Great Food (get the Chicken and Vegetable Pie, followed by Strawberry Shortcake. The Chicken Pie Crust is The Best, and the shortcake is built on a home-baked biscuit).
Off to Deerfield, for Motel and Pool… then out The Mohawk Trail to take in the Giant Wooden Indians, Really Cool Bridges, and The Hairpin Turn in North Adams…
